POB Foods is an online food marketplace operated by POB Foods Germany at https://pobfoods.com and through the POB Foods Europe mobile app. This policy covers buyers, sellers, and visitors to both services.

Information we collect
Buyers: We collect the information you provide when you register, order, or contact us. This can include your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, order history, reviews, and support messages.
Sellers: We collect the information needed to register and manage a seller account. This can include your name, business and store details, contact details, product listings, order records, support messages, and bank or payout information. If we ask you to verify your business or identity, we also process the information you submit for that purpose.
Visitors and app users: Our website and app process technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as IP address, browser or device information, sign-in activity, and security logs. We also receive information you choose to submit through forms or messages.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to manage accounts and seller stores; display products; process orders, payments, deliveries, withdrawals, and refunds; respond to enquiries and disputes; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain the website and app; and keep records required for our business.
Payments
WooPayments processes customer payments. POB Foods does not receive customers’ full card details. We receive the transaction information needed to confirm payment, process an order, handle a refund, and maintain our records. Sellers’ payout details are processed as needed to arrange withdrawals.
Cookies and app technology
We use cookies and similar technology needed for functions such as signing in, keeping items in a cart, checkout, preferences, and security. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.
The mobile app includes technical reporting tools provided through AppMySite, including Google Firebase and Sentry. These tools may collect app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, performance information, device and operating system information, and device or installation identifiers. IP addresses may also be processed and used to infer approximate location. We use technical reporting to identify errors, improve reliability, and maintain the app.
Sentry crash screenshots are enabled and are not automatically masked. When an error occurs, a screenshot may capture content visible within the app’s WebView, including names, addresses, search terms, photos, and visible payment fields. According to AppMySite, these screenshots are generally retained for 30 days. Sentry view-hierarchy reports contain structural screen information rather than typed text or WebView content.
AppMySite states that Firebase and Sentry generally process app telemetry on its behalf under their service terms, and that aggregated or de-identified data may also be used to operate and improve their services. App reporting is separate from the website cookies described above.
Marketplace Sellers and Vendors
POB Foods allows independent sellers or vendors to offer products through the marketplace. Information necessary to fulfil an order may be shared with the relevant seller, delivery provider, payment provider or other service provider.
Who receives information
We share the information needed to fulfil an order with the seller responsible for it. This can include the buyer’s name, phone number, delivery address, ordered items, and delivery instructions. Sellers must use buyer information only for the order and related customer service.
We may share necessary information with delivery providers, WooPayments, website hosting and email providers, AppMySite for the mobile app, and other providers that help us operate the marketplace. Seller store names, product information, and any contact details displayed on a seller’s public store page can be seen by visitors.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate fraud, protect users, or resolve a dispute.
Google Firebase and Sentry may also receive technical information from the mobile app to provide crash reporting, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
Where information is stored
Our website hosting is located in Germany. Providers involved in payments, app operation, communications, or delivery may process information in other locations as needed to provide their services. We take reasonable steps to protect information when it is handled by our providers.
Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. We retain account and transaction information for as long as needed to operate the marketplace, complete orders, resolve disputes, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, subject to those obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can contact Patrick@pobfoods.com to ask about the information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Intended audience
The marketplace and app are intended for adults. They are not intended for children.
